Last night, I finished "Justice for All!"


I already started on "Trials and Tribulations."  I feel like I'm finally starting to catch up to the rest of the fandom. :')

Guess what.

I wrote fic. I actually wrote fic.

The Phoenix Wright Kink Meme has been a great source of inspiration for me... which is a little sad, but I'll take questionable inspiration over no inspiration. I already fulfilled two prompts via drawing, but last night I actually responded to a prompt with writing.

WRITING. OH GOD I ACTUALLY WROTE SOMETHING. WHY AM I SO PROUD OF THIS.

I'm not going to say what I wrote, naturally. For some reason, however, I feel the need to proclaim to my f-list that I contribute to the dang thing. AND THAT I HAVE BEEN BITTEN BY THE FAN FIC BUG. If you guys wanna guess what I wrote (all of my contributions have been to Part 6 thus far), go ahead. I wonder how obvious my writing style (since when do I have a writing style?) is.

Also, I still need moar PW icons.

Tomorrow, I start work. Also, my Photoshop is acting up on me, which is the reason why I haven't presented any arts recently. Plus, I have this sort of restless feeling which causes me to stop what ever I'm doing in favor of taking long walks outside.

Also also, what's a fan gotta do in order to get some decent Edgeworth/Maya fic around here? I mean, I like P/E as much as the next fan, but come on!

Well, I just got back from another card night. You see, some of my Sunday School buddies like to get together and do activities together, at places, for some time. Sometimes, we go to Starbucks to play cards.

Tonight was such a night.

I love my Sunday School buddies. ;_; We're all females... late teens to mid twenties. I'm pretty sure that I'm the youngest at 18, but whatev!

Anyway, I wanted to be hardcore, so I ordered a hardcore drink.

God, I am so wired. I don't have the shakes, but there is no way that I'm getting any sleep tonight. I PROMISE THAT I AM TOTES GONNA WORK ON ART, INSTEAD OF PLAYING PHOENIX WRIGHT.

I'm in the process of making myself some PW icons, btw. It's gonna be rad. I'm thinking of making myself an Edgeworth mood theme, even though I really like the one I have now. Lolcats ftw!

Anyway, art. I'm going to work on commissions. I'm also going to work on a SUPER SEEKRIT project that I'm doing for CAPSTARA. I'm hoping that they will get a kick out of it.

Well, I finally finished my first Phoenix Wright game. Hooray! I have the second and third games on my shelf, waiting for me. I plan on shelling out some cash for a DS of my own, so I don't have to keep borrowing my sister's. I'll probably get the dark blue one, even though the pink one is super cute and reminds me of Princess Peach. If they ever come out with a wine red DS, I'm buying that one. I can only dream.

Man. I sort of have a tendency to neglect my journal for days, and then write tl;dr entries in-between those time gaps.

Like, my weekend was great, guys. On Saturday, I was on my computer, doing some artwork for ATLARP, when my dad comes in my room saying that he hasn't seen me all day. That's when I sort of as him if he wanted to go outside with me to toss a football around.

We don't have a football.

WE HAVE A FRISBEE.

ALSO, IT WAS SUPER WINDY OUTSIDE.

SO WE THREW THE FRISBEE AT EACH OTHER FOR A WHILE, THEN DECIDED TO FLY A KITE INSTEAD.

On Sunday, I celebrated Easter because, lol Christian. I ate soooooo many Peeps this year. WTF I HATE PEEPS.

And then, for the next few days, I did some stuff that I can't remember doing. I do remember downloading uTorrent, so I could illegally obtain a dating sim that I've wanted to play for years. It's called "Kana: My Little Sister". I wanna play it, because the storyline is said to be superior, plus the game is supposed to be a real tear-jerker. I LIKE TEAR-JERKERS, GUYS. BECAUSE I'M A SENSITIVE PERSON. REALLY, I AM.

ANYWAY. The game took two days to download, and when it downloaded, I couldn't open it. So, I downloaded Daemon Tools. BUT DAEMON TOOLS WON'T OPEN, EITHER.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!! This whole torrent thing is more trouble than it's worth. I'll probably just give up and buy the damn game like I'm supposed to.

SO, I GUESS THAT'S PRETTY MUCH BEEN MY WEEK. Right now, I'm doing artwork of the animu HSR variety.

Oh, yeah. You know you're curious.

Bragging teim is now.

I just got out of Acting class. Our assignment was to bring a monologue to class and read it. I chose "Wasted Youth" by Jim Steinman, which is can be heard on Meat Loaf's album, "Bat out of Hell II: Back into Hell". We were graded on a scale of 1 to 30 points, and my grade was 30+++/30.

I thought the three extra plusses were a bit much, but damn do I feel good about myself! It never hurts to feel good about yourself once in a while, right? And hay, at least this journal post isn't another fannish rambling!

Speaking of fannish ramblings, it's time for a Phoenix Wright update!

I'm nearing the end of the fith case (I think). It's without a doubt the craziest case so far, and the funniest episode. The episode introduced characters that are simply outrageous, and I love it. Edgeworth is still my favorite character by far (HURRRRRR), but Ema has really made her way into my heart. She and Phoenix make a much better team than Phoenix and Maya, in my humble opinion.

Despite this, I suddenly started shipping Ema with Edgeworth. This shouldn't shock anyone, as I ship Edgeworth with everyone, and Phoenix with no one (except for Edgeworth).

While everyone's glued to their TV screens, playing Brawl, I'm glued to my little sister's DS, playing Phoenix Wright.

That's right!  Yesterday, I went out and bought the first two games!  After hearing about them non stop on F!S, I had to see what the hype was about.

I must say that I'm enjoying the game very much so far.  Then again, I've always loved the mystery/suspense/court genres.  When I was little, I read many of the "The Boxcar Children" books.  When I got older, I would piss away time watching Court TV.  I would also watch shows like "Law and Order" with my dad.  I loved and still love the cartoons "Cased Closed" and "Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law".  Given my entertainment choices in the past, I'm baffled at why I didn't get the PW games before.

Well, they were expensive when the first came out.... plus, I'm not much of a gamer.  Still, I'm very glad that I took a chance and bought the games.

I love playing as Phoenix.  He's a very "Mr. Smith" type of guy, and I admire that.  Plus, he cracks me up.  I also love Edgeworth... for no other reason than because I think he's hot.  His voice... his body language... his facial expressions... his ruffly collar.... it's ridiculous how much I am turned on by a game sprite.

I don't slash these characters with each other.... at least not yet.  I'm reserving judgement.  Besides, I like the idea of Phoenix being staight.  I don't really have a reason; I just do.  Maybe it's just because he reminds me just of Lloyd from "ToS".... if only just a little bit.

(Yes, I ship Lloyd/Collette.  It's cute!)
